MozArt Supplies is an arts and crafts company created by a wife and husband duo, Moazzam and Safeeya, in 2016 in London, UK. They are avid artists, and that’s what sets them apart. They are working with artists all around the world to create a wide range of products while keeping artists’ need in mind.
Arriving in a new market is always a challenge. No matter how much research we did, we had to test a lot of different ads to find the right audiences and creative. We did a really good job of keeping high ROI right from the beginning.
Generating good ROI in a completely new market
MozArt had never done any social media advertising as they were selling exclusively on Amazon.They wanted to create a real brand and a real community with their company, and after seeing the amazing results Aristide Basque, SHIFT’s Co-Founder, they decided to pursue the social media route.
We then had to expand the brand’s reach, popularity through video ad campaigns while maintaining good ROI.
The first thing we had in mind was viral content. We had to leverage the beautiful drawings and tutorials done with MozArt products. Utilizing these videos allowed us to warm up viewers to the product and create an optimized audience. Retargeting proved effective in that matter, as it generated around 80% of all sales.
We embarked every viewer, from the first time they saw a video in a complex customer journey that always offered them different content to interact with. The brand gained quick following on social media in the artists community, all while keeping good ROI.
We only started with a $900/mo budget for advertising, but results were so amazing we could scale ads quickly. After only 2 months, we were already spending north of $4000/mo.

Novelty. Most agencies use the same ad over and over again in hopes that it will work. But the truth is, people become saturated of seeing the same ad.
Our customer journey method takes care of this problem by showing up to 5 different type of content to potential customers. It’s an extremely good selling point for an eCommerce store like MozArt as it shows the versatility of the products and the world of possibility it offers.
Creating a good, engaged audience through careful targeting and optimization is what allowed to achieve such great ROI and high revenue in so little time.
Over a 7 months advertising campaign
Chatbots are an extremely powerful tool that allows you to be really personal with your audience, almost human. They also generate better results than email marketing, as it showed with our 84% open rate, 52% click through rate. In an attempt to gain subbscribers, we launched a campaign that asked people to join the Manychat list if they wanted exclusive discounts, drawing tips and much more. Results were extremely fast growing, reaching 881 with a single ad set.
